How time goes by...

It truly is amazing how much can happen in 10 months. Let me see if I can try and catch you up. Here are some of the big events that have happened since last Halloween. Ok... here we go...

I graduated LPN school!!! FINALLY... hard work and long sleepless nights of studying pays off. On to RN pre-reqs, waitlist, and more hard work and long sleepless nights of studying.

Fall 2008 LPN Graduating Class

Katt and I... just graduated and so happy!

Then... 1st Christmas at Grandma's new house!

This is an interesting concept. Helmet and pretend washing machine (his favorite toy of Alyssa's). Oh yeah, and grocery basket full of plastic food.

New Years 2009 - spent with lots of kids this year

Yawns and all, Alyssa made it 'til Midnight and brought in the new year. Yay!

Then in January, I made a trip out to Arizona to visit friends and family, while catching the supercross race. We had a blast and I even met some pretty famous racers (although I had no idea who they were at the time). This is Cathy, my childhood best friend.

Braylee Reese Ehmann was born to one of my other best friends, Summer, and her husband, Ryan. She is perfect in every way.

I picked up snowboarding and must admit I'm not half bad. Can't wait until next season! Maybe this year I'll buy my own board and may decide to start Alyssa on skis (hilarious pictures to come, I'm sure).

Found some time to fly to Vegas to meet Cathy for a 30th birthday party.

Amy and I took Alyssa, Jordan, and Justice to go tubing at Copper Mtn.

And Easter was spent at Uncle Mike's new house...

And a few shorts weeks later, Natalie Jo Russell, was born to one of my best friends, Sarah and her fiance, Jeremy... 6 weeks early!!! So precious.

Alyssa turned 5 at bouncetown!! Big girl... Kindergarten here we come.

Alyssa had a graduation of her own. Preschool!

Justice, Mrs. Gilmore, and Alyssa

Concerts at Red Rocks are becoming traditional for summer fun...

Due to the unusually wet and chilly summer, the animals had little food (berries) in the mountains and moved down toward the hills allowing several great chances to snap a few pics of Bambi. I was only about 10 feet from this deer.

And there was no time to relax on my business trip to Santa Monica, CA this summer.

White water rafting is an adventure everyone should experience! This was in Clear Creek, CO. My sister planned the entire trip for us, and 5 of our girl friends - sorry boys, this is an all girl trip. We had a blast! I can't wait to do it again next summer! Breathtaking views and adrenaline mix refreshingly and make you feel as alive as humanly possible. I will recommend it for everyone.

For Michael's birthday, a new tradition was started this year. We enjoyed a day in Estes and dinner at a cabin, where earlier in the day mom saw a bear... or so she claims. :)

1st day of Kindergarten!!!! The sun was shinning bright... and she looked ready.

Looking back on the last 10 months, it's been fun filled and memorable, and I've tried to post the most exciting moments and milestones, but I'm sure I'm leaving out twice as much. It has been a great year so far, and I'm finding it hard to believe Fall is right around the corner. I truly have a lot to be thankful for and am so blessed in so many ways. God is Great.

Halloween 2008

Here is a pic of Alyssa in her Leopard costume (DO NOT CALL HER A CAT!) One with make-up for trick-or-treating, and one without for her school parade.

Alyssa posing as a leopard in front of our house.

Here's Justice, a cute little clown.

And this year, we not only carved a pumpkin, but painted it too. :)

Elk Watching in Estes Park

This fall Amy, the boys, Alyssa and I went up to Estes Park to see the Elk. These pictures were taken at a golf course. We were so close we could have walked right up to them and touched them... but we stayed out of their way like smart natives do. As for the tourists, well, I saw a few who should have taken a few steps back. It was a lot of fun though and we all enjoyed it.

Aiden

I love it when this cutie comes to Auntie's house.
Here are some recent pics of Aiden.
